Buying Tips: Performance in Red, Green & Blue

It’s the center of the universe for the AGS Bling Blog – those red, blue, and green colors in the circles above tell us how the diamond is handling light.  Lots of red and a bit of green means lots of brightness. The arrow pattern of the blue color shows superior symmetry. Too much blue and you have a dull, lifeless diamond.

Can you match the light and dark areas of the diamond on the left with one of the color images above?  If you have a minute, stop by your local AGS jeweler and have them show you how “engaging” their diamonds are! Don’t just settle for color grades, clarity grades, and carat weight. Ask about the cut quality of a diamond and insist that your diamond is a high performer!

Light Performance – it’s what the diamond DOES!!
